AZ Rivierenland is a completely renovated hospital. The new hospital officially opened early 2019 and is therefore equipped with state-of-the-art techniques and a brand-new operating theater.

At the hospital, there is a welcoming restaurant offering hot and cold dishes.

The hospital is easily accessible by car along the N16 Sint-Niklaas – Mechelen or by public transport.

We have a bariatric service with 3 surgeons who only perform obesity surgeries. We have our own on-call service so that our patients are always looked after by a bariatric surgeon.
